Berry Green-alicious Juice

Here’s the best of both worlds – antioxidant berries and chlorophyll rich greens!
This was one of the first juices I made on our fast. It is quite yummy and a good way to transition from fruit juices to greens for those of us with a sweet tooth.

Place these ingredients into your juicer in whatever way works best for your style of juicer:

1 cup strawberries
1 cup raspberries
2 apples
2 oranges
4 cups packed spinach
2 cups packed kale

This makes enough for a couple of glasses of juice.

It feels like drinking a glass of summertime goodness!

Raw Vegan Caesar Dressing

Are you a vegan that misses Caesar salad?

Maybe you’re just looking for a healthy alternative to the high calorie, dairy-based dressing usually used on Caesar salad. This dressing is filled with healthy, nutrient-filled ingredients that you can feel good about eating!

It certainly isn’t exactly like Caesar dressing. I think I like this one even more! My husband who is not a salad eater has been eating this salad multiple times a day and even using the dressing like a dip! He even gets the lettuce out and cuts it himself! You have no idea what a miracle this is. […]

Addicted to Green Juice

Here’s how to make green juice taste good without adding a ton of fruit!
Okay, it’s official, I’m getting addicted to something good for me!!! Right now, I’d rather have this than chocolate!!! It tastes so refreshing and makes me feel alive.

First of all, sorry to say, you need a juicer. I do recommend you get one and that you use it! Don’t be like me and my husband who have had one kicking around for almost 25 years and barely used it! Well, we’re making up for it now!

Juicing is a great way to give your body a large […]

Avo Cuke and Peppers with Mixed Greens

If you’re looking for a yummy, easy salad to throw together, look no further!
I threw this together for lunch the other day. I’m really rockin’ eating raw this week! I started out with the idea that I’d just eat an avocado for a snack, then decided to be a good girl and make a salad with it. I really enjoyed this! I put it in this gorgeous new bowl I got at Value Village last week. It looked so healthy and sexy and it tasted divine!

This recipe makes enough for 2 salads.

Salad Ingredients:

2 large handfuls of mixed greens
1 avocado […]

Creamy Raspberry Ginger Dressing

Would you like a new dressing recipe that will send your taste-buds into euphoric bliss?
I just got home from walking to my local Kin’s Market where they sell an awesome variety of fresh produce. After lugging two heavy bags up the steep hill to my house, (oh why did those honey pomelos have to be on sale?) and unloading everything onto the table, I got an inspiration to create a dressing out of some of the ingredients I’d bought.

The fresh raspberries, lime, ginger and avocados just called out to be blended and poured on a salad! I made the […]
